Getting Started
Step 1
Contact Cynthia and set up a consultation. Cynthia will show you her portfolio and paint samples.
Be prepared to show her the space you want painted. Clip photographs from magazines that you admire. If you are working
with an interior designer, Cynthia will be delighted to collaborate on solutions for your project. Collect fabric
samples, bedding, carpet and floor coverings to guide your selections. This is an important part of the design process
because the swatches will be used as reference to select your motifs and colors. Cynthia will give you an estimate of the
cost of your job after the first consultation.
Step 2
Approve the price quote. For each color sample there is a $50 deposit which will be applied to
the job. Cynthia will prepare custom samples so you know exactly what the surface will look like. If you stop the
process after the samples have been completed, the deposit is non-refundable.
Step 3
Evaluate the samples in both daylight and at night. Discuss adjustments that are needed.
Have a house painter clean, repair and paint the walls with a base coat which we will specify.
Cynthia can recommend a competent painter if you do not have one.
Step 4
Once you are satisfied with the samples, we will schedule the job. Cluster furniture in the center of
the room and remove accessories. Cynthia takes exceptional care to ensure the areas not being painted
are protected. Now comes the best part. Your space will be transformed into something truly unique.
